Wiawaka Center for Women recently welcomed two new members to the Board of Directors. Fannie Glover and Jordyn Conway were elected to the board at the January 30th meeting held at the Conklin Center in Glens Falls.
Ms. Glover is the Director of Business Leader Engagement/Equity, Diversity and Inclusion for the Early Care and Learning Council in Albany, NY. She is heavily experiences in human resources, management and strategic planning. Fannie has joined the Board and offers a positive and enthusiastic spirit while providing valuable non-profit management and long term planning expertise. Fannie is delighted to serve on the Development Committee as her term begins and is interested in helping the Board put together a strategic plan for the organization.
Jordyn Conway is a Development Officer at Albany Law School of Union University; previously she worked in Development at the Lake George Land Conservancy. Growing up on Lake George has given her a passion for the area and special places on the lake such as Wiawaka. Jordyn is excited to join the board and work with the Development Committee.
“Wiawaka is a treasure to the Lake George region. I look forward to joining a board of passionate women and cultivating resources for the preservation and restoration of Wiawaka’s great history” said Conway.
