Ladies of the Lake Luncheon

Our annual luncheon at the Lake George Club is always a wonderful event which includes presentations of the Mary Fuller Award & Spirit of Wiawaka Awards, a great auction & raffle, a delicious meal and exceptional company.
This is a great opportunity to come support Wiawaka and take in the beauty of Lake George from the terrace of the Lake George Club in Diamond Point. This event traditionally sells out so be sure to reserve your tickets early!

Fourth of July Family BBQ

Wiawaka friends and family are invited to our annual 4th of July Cookout & Celebration! Enjoy swimming, lawn games and other activities before our all-American BBQ at 6pm. Dinner will be followed by a campfire with S’mores. Stay for the Lake George Fireworks, we have a great view from our dock!
*As a reminder Wiawaka is a women’s retreat center for women 18+. However, we reserve this special day and invite families to enjoy our beautiful facility on this family holiday. We do ask that you respect the guests by not entering the guest houses. A lifeguard will be provided for swimming from 4-6pm.

Music at Wakonda with Elizabeth Woodbury Kasius & friends

Enjoy an outdoor concert in front of Wakonda Lodge, Georgia’s residence when she was a visitor at Wiawaka over 100 years ago. Elizabeth will present original compositions (perhaps O’Keeffe inspired) while guests enjoy listening at Wakonda’s natural amphitheater on the shore of Lake George. Lite snacks, iced tea and lemonade will be served. Guests may bring their own beverages of choice.
In case of inclement weather, the concert will take place in our program tent.
